The original LARC vehicles were equipped with two Cummins 8-cylinder diesel engines, each delivering 300 HP. On land, the vehicles could reach a maximum speed of 48 km/h and, on water, 9.5 knots, which is approximately 18 km/h. The unladen weight of the vehicle is 22 tons. The maximum permissible weight was 35.5 tons. The previous owner intended to convert the boats to fully electric drive in order to subsequently organize tours on the Wadden Sea.
