In contrast to the universal lathes, here the adjustment of the revolutions is infinitely variable by means of a frequency inverter.

It is possible to ensure a "constant cutting speed" (V-const), i.e. when changing the diameter to be machined, the speed remains unchanged and thus a higher accuracy and smoothness of the surface is achieved. At the customer's request, the machines can be manufactured with a reading of the linear displacement and positioning by mounting a digital display.
