Significant advantages compared to conventional PET perforators with punching mandrels or knives: The BOREMA process is much more efficient and less subject to wear than conventional PET perforators with punching mandrels or knives. The biggest advantage is that any foreign matter such as metal parts, stones, bottles with frozen contents and pieces of wood are passed through the pneumatically deflecting rotor shaft without stopping the operation of the system or causing any major damage.
