The tight banding machines in the SKINETTA series are used to band (wrap) individual products or several individual products tightly
with polyethylene film. In contrast to shrinking machines, the wrapping film is pulled tightly around the pack before sealing. This tightening is the main advantage of the process. The result is up to 20% less film consumption.
A particular advantage of the patented SKINETTA tightening system is the infinitely variable, fine dosage.
The sealing (welding) of the film takes place in a very small space and a clean sealing seam with very small protrusions is created. By connecting a SKINETTAther or SKINETTAshrink heating hood downstream and using a correspondingly wide film, the excess film protruding beyond the container can be shrunk to the side. This process makes the pack even more stable and prevents individual products from falling out of the sides of a grouped pack.
