The GEWA 3800V PLUS is a universal washer for pre-washing, washing, disinfecting, mixing and rinsing both cut and whole products such as baby leaf, iceberg, vegetables, herbs and fruit. It uses KRONEN’s HELICAL washing system, where the product travels through the wash tank in a spiral water flow up to ten times the tank length. This ensures thorough yet gentle cleaning, optimal product distribution and significantly reduced water consumption compared to conventional flotation washers.
Floating and sinking products are conveyed through the tank by the helical water flow. At the end of the tank, product and water overflow to the vibration outfeed, where the product is sprayed with fresh water and pre-dewatered, while the water is filtered and returned to the pump tank for reuse. A built-in sand trap separates heavy dirt such as sand and small stones at the bottom of the tank, preventing it from returning to the product flow.
The machine is built entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel with excellent hygienic design and easy access for cleaning and maintenance. All pipes, pump casing, wash and pump tanks and covers are stainless steel; in the PLUS models with vibration outfeed there are no screws in the product area, which further improves hygiene.
The set includes a KRONEN GE 11 air blower (2008, 2.2 kW, 3×400 V, 50 Hz), designed to blow off water from the product surface after washing. Placed after the washer, it improves dewatering, reduces the load on subsequent centrifuges/dryers and enhances shelf life and appearance of the final product.

Our machine is equipped with an automation system and make production in a fully automatic mode. This process comes following way: operator of machine put end of metal roll to the pulling rollers of the machine, which moves it to the rolling part of the equipment.
