These horizontal hydraulic presses are specifically designed for straightening and bending profiles, bars, and beams. The horizontal configuration enables easy handling of large-size beams and profiles. The latest-generation HS series offers versatile utility, with the possibility to fit a wide variety of tooling. They operate at a hydraulic pressure below 350 BAR to ensure greater durability of the entire hydraulic system. STRUCTURE AND TABLES The SH series horizontal straightening hydraulic presses feature an electro-welded "C"-frame structure made exclusively from S355JR steel. The frame is stabilized and machined after welding to ensure perfect parallelism and precision. Design and calculation are carried out using finite element software, thus maintaining our high standards of robustness, accuracy, and quality. They come equipped with a main anti-rotation push cylinder and a rear support table, both made from high-strength steel and machined with DIN 650 T-slots. Standard equipment includes C45E steel support blocks. Two adjustable side rollers are also included as standard, one on each side. CYLINDER AND HYDRAULIC UNIT Double-acting cylinder with honed sleeve, chrome-plated piston, and maintenance-free anti-wear guides. Cylinder is operated by a lever hydraulic distributor. The straightening machine is prepared for the particular type of material by interchangeable rounded spacer elements. The replacement of the 10 inserts is done manually by simply pushing them into the holding grooves. The scope of delivery includes basic equipment for one profile. The program for the respective profile is then called up on the monitor. The monitor shows the ideal line and, in addition, an ascending and descending millimeter scale with 0.5 mm lines. The profile to be straightened is now placed on the left side of the table, pushed against a holder and clamped with a quick-clamping device. Both the holder and the quick-clamping device are mounted on a clamping plate for quick adjustment. This clamping plate moves on a linear guide from left to right and vice versa. Transport is by a chain drive and a servo motor. The movement is triggered by a joystick on the control panel. After the profile has been clamped, the operator moves the clamping platen into the press using the joystick. The travel speed is up to 100 mm per second, but can be continuously adjusted down to 10 mm per second. To do this, it is sufficient to pull the lever of the control system slightly less. A high-resolution camera now shows the profile in the press. The operator sees exactly the deviation from the ideal line. Depending on the need, he now pushes or pulls the profile to the desired accuracy. He then continues to move slowly through the press, seeing in detail on the monitor whether the profile is now straight. Depending on the need, he can now move the profile forwards or backwards and readjust it. After the profile has been straightened, it moves out of the press on the right and can be removed.
