Die Pumpe fördert die Flüssigkeit zum Filterblock, in dem die Filterplatten eingesetzt sind. Das System kann 6 bis 10 Filtereinsätze aufnehmen, was die Filtrationsleistung erhöht. Die Platten sind parallel geschaltet, um die Effizienz bei der Entfernung von Verunreinigungen zu maximieren. Für die optimale Filtration von Pflanzenölen wird die Verwendung von Filtern mit einer Durchlässigkeit von 45 Mikrometern empfohlen, sowie das Halten der Öltemperatur bei etwa 35°C, um einen besseren Durchfluss und Reinigungseffekt zu erzielen. Vor dem Filterblock befindet sich ein Manometer, das die Überwachung des Drucks und die Beurteilung des Zustands der Filtereinsätze ermöglicht. Bei einem deutlichen Druckanstieg zeigt das Manometer die Notwendigkeit eines Filterwechsels an. Das FP-10-Set erlaubt das Abtrennen des Schlauchs zwischen Pumpe und Filterblock, sodass die Pumpe auch für andere Aufgaben der Flüssigkeitsförderung verwendet werden kann.
