Suitable for use with bimetal and carbide saw bands. The saw unit is manufactured as a solid component from polymer concrete, providing maximum running smoothness and extended blade life. Guidance of the saw unit via a vertical and one round-column guide (double-column guide) with hardened and ground guide rails. Hydraulic saw band tensioning and hydraulically pre-tensioned carbide saw band guides. Material clamping is performed using two hydraulic vices. The machine controls offer simple operation. Cutting length is entered via handwheel with 0.1 mm resolution. Piece count is set via a counter; upon reaching the set quantity, the machine automatically stops.
