Description
WSM Stationary Screwdriving Unit Screwdriving Station
Assembly of parts for car radios and navigation systems and for testing them.
The assembly station is surrounded by a protective enclosure.
The service doors are equipped with monitoring switches with tumbler(interlock).
The doors are locked in automatic mode and can only be opened in automatic mode or in manual mode after pressing the Doors button on the control panel. Automatic mode cannot be started when the door is open.
Function sequence
The station is loaded with the pre-assembled module via the transfer conveyor.
The operating steps of the automatic station with the passage of a WT are described below.
In normal operation, all 3 stations work in parallel.
- Positioning of the WT with the preassembled assembly in St.2.1
- Lowering of the beam with the scanners and the vision sensor
- Scanning of the 3 codes (front panel, front LP, SD LP), comparison with the database
- Checking the correct latching of the FFC in the connector
- Lifting the carrier and lowering the WT onto the belt
- Positioning of the WT with the pre-assembled assembly in St.2.2
- Positioning of the screwdriver and screwing of the front LP
- Lowering the WT onto the belt
- Positioning of the WT with the pre-assembled assembly in pc.2.3
- Lowering of the light protection cover and contacting, positioning of the carrier with the test sensors from below
- type-dependent testing of the SD + CD lighting slots and pushbuttons
- Function test CD eject button
- Lowering the WT onto the conveyor > continue
If faults occur during the test, they are indicated on the display and can be rectified if possible.
To do this, switch to manual mode and open the doors. After the repair and starting of the automatic system, the WT is tested again in the station.
If no repair is possible (e.g. screw fault), the WT is marked as NOK in the control system and is not processed further.
Manual NOK marking and ejection is also possible.
