Description
CMT–VSR Pro is an advanced high-speed core balancing machine including a manually operated, fixed-mount correction cutter that ensures a fine quality surface finish and a servo-controlled air valve to provide the highest measuring accuracy.
The machine has been designed for the high-speed balancing of turbocharger core assembly of passenger car, light- and heavy-duty trucks. It is used for checking whether there is any unwanted dynamic phenomenon of a rotor at high rotational speed value e.g. the flexural of shaft by the moment of force. Balancing in a full range of rotational speed extends lifespan of turbocharger and eliminates the undesirable effect of whistling.

Core is installed on the hub of the machine by the use of a mounting flange with the two clamps to lock it. Turbine wheel is driven by compressed air supplied through a drive sleeve with a nozzle system. During a measurement an oil with an appropriate temperature and pressure is supplied, as a result of which the balancing conditions are similar to those of a combustion engine. As a result, the vibration graph of a core in relation to a rotational speed value and a vibration norm is displayed. In addition, to simplify the analysis of the vibration graph, the software indicates the exact angular position of a mass correction
