Poorly free-flowing waste is transformed into an agglomerate with a high bulk density and good flowability, which can therefore be fed directly into extruders and injection moulding machines. The system for sale has a main motor with 110 kW drive power and a throughput of 600 to 2000 kg/h depending on the feed material. All thermoplastics can be processed, even sensitive materials such as PET, PA and bioplastics can be agglomerated without thermal damage or discolouration. The system consists of the feeding device with silo, the compactor, a secondary granulator with sifting and fines return. In this form it is not necessary to have cutter compactor extruders saving more energy, as the materials are so dry and dense they can be fed direct to extruders for pellet production.
