Our Managing Director, Leo Rief, founded GSN Schleiftechnik GmbH in 1996. The corporate goal has never been the manufacture of new machines, but rather to increase performance, efficiency, and productivity in manufacturing processes through machine overhauls and retrofits. Today, we have grown into a medium-sized company with four production halls, an administration building, three warehouses, 80 employees, and 12 trainees.

With Leo Rief—who himself worked for Schaudt for 25 years—and many of our employees who gained experience at renowned grinding machine manufacturers, we draw on extensive expertise in cylindrical grinding machinery. This wealth of experience, combined with technical know-how and a comprehensive range of services, makes us recognized experts in the field of machine overhauls.
