Reverse Osmosis Plant for ethylene glycol recovery, with a 12 m³ raw-water storage and homogenisation tank, nominal feed flow rate of 4 m³/h at 4 bar and filter backwash flow rate of 11 m³/h at 1.5 bar. Includes an automatic downflow multimedia filter with anthracite and sand beds supported on gravel, designed to remove suspended particles and protect the membranes. Compact skid-mounted reverse osmosis unit with two-stage filtration using replaceable 20- and 5-micron cartridges, a variable-speed high-pressure pump and a two-stage (1+1) × 6 reverse osmosis membrane configuration. Equipped with 8-inch DOW spiral-wound aromatic polyamide membranes installed in GRP pressure vessels rated up to 1,000 psi. Nominal recovery rate: 90%, equivalent to a theoretical permeate production of approximately 3.6 m³/h under design conditions. Low- and high-pressure piping and interconnections manufactured from AISI 316L stainless steel. Includes recirculation, front and side permeate collection, a CIP chemical cleaning system, membrane flushing, a GRP solution-preparation tank, a 25-micron mesh microfilter and a delivery pump for cleaning solutions and permeate water. Automated control system based on a Siemens S7-200 PLC, providing measurement and control of flow rates, temperature, pressures, pressure drops, operating times, pumping, backwashing, flushing and process alarms. Operator panel with a 6-inch colour touchscreen for parameter display and configuration, start/stop control, filter washing, alarm monitoring and trend graphs. Includes a 2 m³ reverse osmosis reject-water tank for subsequent transfer to the evaporator. Serial No.: MPP51525.
