FLEXOR CI6-1000 — 6-Color CI Flexographic Printing Press, 1000 mm

The FLEXOR CI6-1000 is a six-color central impression flexographic printing press for roll-to-roll packaging production. Offered by Gutenberg Grafische Machines B.V., the machine combines a 1000 mm maximum printing width with servo unwinding and rewinding, motorized registration, PLC control and video inspection.

CENTRAL IMPRESSION PRINTING SYSTEM

Six laser-engraved ceramic anilox rollers and six chamber doctor blade systems with pneumatic ink pumps. Anilox line counts are selected for the printing requirements. The printing section features a 100 mm cast-iron frame, hydraulic positioning and retraction of the printing cylinders, mechanical printing-pressure adjustment, and automatic ink mixing when stopped. The central drum incorporates constant-temperature water cooling.

WEB HANDLING AND ROLL CONTROL

Single-station, center-driven servo unwind and rewind with low-friction-cylinder tension control. Equipment includes EPC web guiding before printing, curved anti-wrinkle rollers, a web-break stop sensor at the unwind and automatic tension hold when the machine stops. An overhead lifting arrangement is specified for handling materials, cylinders and rollers.

CONTROLS AND PRINT INSPECTION

PLC-controlled motorized longitudinal and transverse registration with automatic center return. ER video inspection is included for viewing the printed web during operation.

DRYING AND COOLING

Five inter-color drying modules, centralized electric hot-air drying and post-print cooling before rewinding. The drying system includes independent inlet and exhaust fans, adjustable airflow and PID temperature control with a stated accuracy of ±2°C.

SUBSTRATES

The specified thin-film range covers shrink film, BOPP, PET, PE and nylon at 15–150 µm. The wider material list includes LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, CPP, paper, non-woven materials, laminates and aluminium foil. Suitability for each material grade, thickness and ink system is confirmed against the intended application and samples.
