Condition: used, This listing is for the Barkey Plasmatherm Laboratory plasma thawer The units are in full working condition and are ready for immediate use Nodpjyufrgsfx Ab Asdc These items show very little signs of use Available in original packaging with manuals The Barkey Plasmatherm is a specialised laboratory and clinical device designed for the safe thawing and warming of fresh frozen plasma (FFP), blood components, and other infusion products. The system uses controlled dry-heating technology to ensure uniform and gentle thawing while maintaining the integrity of sensitive biological samples. Unlike traditional water baths, the Plasmatherm operates using a sealed temperature-controlled system that prevents direct contact between samples and water. This improves hygiene, reduces contamination risk, and simplifies maintenance. The device maintains precise temperatures typically between 37°C and 45°C, ensuring optimal conditions for plasma thawing and blood warming procedures. Safety is a key feature of the system, incorporating over-temperature protection, leak detection sensors, and visual and acoustic alarms to alert operators to any irregularities. A transparent lid allows continuous monitoring of the thawing process while the intuitive control interface enables easy operation and accurate programming of temperature and time settings. The Plasmatherm is widely used in hospital blood banks, transfusion services, and clinical laboratories where rapid, reliable, and hygienic thawing of plasma and blood products is essential. Its efficient design helps laboratories improve workflow while maintaining strict compliance with transfusion and laboratory safety standards.
