SCHUMAG manufactures precision components with extremely tight tolerances in the micron range.

We produce high-precision parts according to customer drawings in quantities of up to 50,000,000 per year – and, if required, also as a custom-made one-off. Our specialty is small, ground parts with diameters from 0.3 mm to 80 mm.

We can reliably achieve roundness up to 0.5 µm, straightness up to 0.5 µm, and cylindricity up to 0.7 µm.

To achieve this, we use processes such as grinding, hard turning, internal grinding, or honing. Even the strictest surface finish requirements down to Ra 0.01 can be met by lapping and superfinishing. Diameter tolerances down to 0.5 µm, length tolerances down to 1 µm, and flatness up to 1 µm are challenges we meet every day. Our high-precision manufacturing processes ensure compliance with these minimal tolerances.
