The lateral strip guidance is provided by rollers located at the inlet and outlet of the machine, which are adjustable via handwheels. The roller inlet guide, provided by a roller cage, supports the strip loop at the roller feed. This ensures smooth strip running as it enters the roller feed unit. The AC servo motor is controlled by a PLC. This control system can be programmed via the INDRAMAT operator terminal (see enclosed description). The control system and the associated electrical components are housed in a separate control panel.
