MAIR PACKAGING MACHINE, model MPS RH150/D/4/SL Model MPS RH150/D/4/SL Pat. automatically packs round tubes in hexagonal bundles. The Machine allows the strapping operation to be carried out automatically in a fix position, with the bundle moving sideways and stopping automatically at the programmed strapping positions. It is composed of: - Four tube lift chain conveyors with carrier teeth and intermittently driven for the lifting of one tube at a time, coming from the threading machine, to the aligning area; - One driven rollway to align the tube against an adjustable end-stop, before the row formation; - Two storage areas for the tube row; necessary during the bundle evacuation cycle; - One sturdy structure in welded structural steel, forming a bridge; - Tube row handling system which picks up a row of tubes at a time from the second row storage and places it down onto the bundle forming brackets. - Handling is performed by a series of electromagnets which perform a rotary movement during the row transfer cycle; - Four driven vertical brackets for bundle formation and holding. They are provided of adjustable blades according to the required bundle size and shape and they will be lowered in order to allow the bundle laying down on the evacuation trolley. - Driven evacuation trolley, sliding on rails fixed to the floor and equipped with lower driven rollers and pairs of retaining vertical loose rolls. - Driven flat conveyor to transport the bundle after the strapping area. - Driven storage chains suitable to approach bundles at the selected quantity. - Drainage station for bundle lifting, to allow the coolant outlet from tubes; it is equipped with two hydraulic devices driven by a hydraulic power pack. - Control switch cabinet. 2. SIGNODE AUTOMATIC STRAPPING STATION, model M400 The formed bundle is automatically transferred, by the driven rollers of the evacuation trolley, to the automatic Strapping Station. The bundle will be stopped at the programmed strapping positions to allow the automatic application of the steel strap. It is composed of: - SIGNODE automatic Strapping Machine Model M400/PA/TSM for vertical strapping, - Pneumatic strapping floating head for steel strap of 32 mm. width (1¼") and 0,9 mm. wall thickness; - 450 kg. jumbo coil dispenser with electrical unwinding; - Switchboard. 3. WEIGHING STATION Model KG8/DY The weighing station weighs tube bundles by means of load cells. Bundles are transferred by the driven storage chains to the weighing position. The Weighing Station is located under the pneumatic lifting devices which will lift the bundle in order to allow the weighing operation. Price is absolutely fixed, based on the removal of easily separated parts which we could sell separately, such as the Mabeg feeder with vacuum belt delivery, and the four-fold Baldwin stainless steel unit—with each color having its own bath, a mixer, and adjustable temperature control, so all four baths can be set to different temperatures and alcohol concentrations. The machine was dry ice cleaned, and it was intended for prominent use in printing electronic paper. However, due to too many initial losses, the project was discontinued. The machine has been with us for 3 years and, due to its size, I want to sell it as quickly as possible. Hence this very low price. It is an excellent machine. If the machine needs to be set up for testing and sampling, this is possible at an additional cost of €10,000, of which €5,000 must be paid in advance as a deposit under agreed conditions. Coils up to 750 mm wide and 1.25 mm to 3 mm thick sheet metal in grade S-390 and lower can be used as raw material. The machine is designed to produce components up to 15 m long. The width of the specially hardened profiling rollers is infinitely adjustable, using only dedicated software. A fully integrated "flying punching" device creates all types of mounting holes, and the entire process is continuous, meaning the material does not stop for individual operations such as punching holes or cross-cutting. To maintain production efficiency, the line speed is dynamically optimized. The machine decelerates and accelerates automatically without operator intervention. A coil uncoiler with a maximum working load of 15 tons is mounted on a mobile trolley, enabling precise centering of the material strip before feeding it into the straightener. The straightener, along with a crescent straightening system, allows for straightening the material, ensuring the required sheet flatness and reducing the crescent on the feed belt. 2. Punching Section This section contains 5 double, "flying" punching portals, which can be equipped with 20 small (up to 40 mm) or 10 large (up to 100 mm) tools (punches and dies) for punching mounting holes. A combination of these tools can also be used. 3. Pre-cutting Shear A "flying" shear used to make preliminary holes for the cutting shear. This process is designed to maintain material continuity, resulting in a more precise profile shape, especially at its beginning and end. This is an adaptive guillotine that adjusts the width of the hole being cut to the width of the sheet metal strip. 4. Guide Carriage/SIGMA Modules The guide carriage is used to center the sheet metal strip before entering the profiler. It is interchangeable with the module for producing Sigma-shaped profiles. To produce S+ profiles, the guide table should be removed and two Sigma modules inserted. These modules position fully automatically and independently, left and right. 6. Rotary Cut-Off Guillotine. The rotary cut-off guillotine with hook knives is used to finally cut the profile from the material strip using the holes made by the pre-cutting guillotine. This is a "flying" guillotine, so the sheet metal does not stop during the cutting process. Depending on the profile being produced, a properly oriented cutting cassette should be attached. 7. Receiving Table The receiving table is used to automatically discharge the completed profiles from the roller conveyor. The elements are then manually arranged into a package. The design allows for easy bundling of the package. The table is designed to accept 15-meter profiles and allows for access by a forklift or overhead crane to collect the package of profiles.
