The edge banding machine is equipped with an Airtronic hot air unit. Compressed air heated to 300–600 °C is directed through a nozzle directly onto the functional layer of the edge band, just before the pressing zone – the edge band fuses with the panel without a visible glue line.
In practice, this means the ability to edge band acrylic, high-gloss, and lacquered fronts with quality comparable to laser technology, without investing hundreds of thousands of zlotys in a laser machine. The equipment operated at actual flow rates close to its nominal capacity, with recorded values ranging from approximately 16,400 to 17,900 Nm³/h.
