Condition: used, Year of construction: 2003, Overview This Krones preform feeding system stores preforms in bulk and delivers them, oriented, to the infeed of a stretch blow moulding machine. It was in production until March 2026, feeding a Krones Contiform S24 blow moulder. The preforms are tipped into the buffer silo, carried up by the inclined preform elevator and aligned on the roller sorter, which hands them over in a continuous row to the blow moulder's infeed rail. The access platform gives the operator safe access to the roller sorter. Nominal output is 13,500 bottles/hour on 0.5 L. The line runs 0.5 L, 1.0 L and 1.5 L PET bottles with PCO 1881 neck finish. It is still installed and under power, and can be visited. The bottles hang by their neck ring and are driven by air from fan units along the conveyor. The installation runs over a total length of approx. 60 m with seven fan units, curves, a diverter and several declining sections. The conveyor sections hang from stainless steel support stands and run at ceiling level across the hall, so the floor beneath stays free for traffic and other machines. The bottles are held in grippers on the carousel and pass three treatment stages before filling: rinsing with water, blowing out with air and gravity drainage. The machine runs at up to 48,000 bottles per hour; this output was achieved in production on the 330, 400 and 500 ml formats, while on the larger formats the filler set the line speed. It has been run on 330, 400, 500, 580 and 650 ml glass bottles, and the change parts for these formats are included. The rinser is fully enclosed by transparent safety doors and is operated from a Krones iPanel. The universal format parts visible in the video are not included in the offer.
