Machineseeker is the world's leading online marketplace for used machines. Over 200,000 offers from more than 8,100 sellers are currently online. As a potential customer you can send an inquiry to the seller free of charge and without registration or contact the seller directly by telephone.

As a buyer, you will find over 200,000 Industrial machines from all categories in the marketplace. A purchase inquiry is free of charge for you and without obligation. The respective seller will usually contact you promptly. A potential transaction is not conducted through our marketplace and we do not receive any commission.

Use the search bar at the top of the screen like the Google search. Enter the name of the machine or vehicle you are looking for and press Enter or click on the magnifying glass.

In the search results list you will find all the listings that match your search query. Click on the desired offer to view the details and send an inquiry. You also have the possibility to search within the individual categories.

You can send the provider an inquiry directly via e-mail. Simply use the blue inquiry form on the right in the listing or the blue button Contact seller (bottom left).

You will also find the telephone or fax number below the inquiry form. If you click on the name of the dealer, the dealer profile (if available) opens with further information about your potential business partner.

A message can get lost or end up in the spam folder of the counterpart. Please contact the provider again - if necessary in another way such as telephone or fax.

Via the dealers search you can display individual dealers. Use the search box at the top left or click your way through the dealers by calling up a category. Via the menu item Search > Send wanted ad, you can send your inquiry to all dealers within a category.

If you win the bid, you will incur costs for the auctioned item in the amount of your bid, as well as additional purchase costs for the auction platform. Dismantling and loading can be charged additionally on a flat-rate basis. You can calculate the total costs incurred in the auction listing at any time in a fair and transparent manner: simply click on the "Total Price Calculator" button. Prices are always quoted net.

The ancillary purchase costs depend on the type of auction item and amount to an industry-standard 9% or 18%. These will only be charged in the event of an award.

If you have already placed a bid on a machine yourself, you will be notified by email about any further incoming bids.

We recommend using the 'Watch auction' feature to stay informed about further bids and the progress of the auction.

If you don't want to constantly monitor the auction, it is advisable to place a maximum bid early on. Our bidding assistant then ensures that you remain the highest bidder up to your limit without any risk.

How the auction ended is not published in the listing. If you wish to submit an offer for a machine that was not sold at auction after the auction has ended, you can do so using the "Request post-auction sale" button. If there is a realistic chance of concluding a sale, we will gladly consider your offer and get back to you promptly.

Bids can be submitted directly online. To do this, simply enter the amount, click “Bid,” and then provide your contact details. The creation of a bidder account is free of charge. No down payment or deposit is required.

If you already have a Machineseeker account, you can of course also log in with your existing account and place bids.

Please note that bids are legally binding and withdrawal is excluded.

Single bids: Here you submit a one-time offer. This will be shown to the other interested parties. You can create a new, one-time listing at any time.

Set a maximum bid: When you set a maximum bid, our system will automatically place incremental bids on your behalf, ensuring you remain the highest bidder in the auction without incurring unnecessary additional costs. The automatic bidding ends if the next required bid would exceed your maximum bid. You can increase this bid at any time. This way you never overpay again.

As a bidder, you will automatically be notified by email about new bids.

If the highest bid at the end of the auction is below this minimum price, the acceptance of the bid is subject to reservation. The seller can then decide whether to accept the highest bid received or not. If the minimum price is reached, your bid will be guaranteed the winning bid.

For auction listings, you can find out in the “Inspection” section whether an on-site inspection (under power) is possible. You can arrange an appointment for inspection upon request.

On classified ads, you can simply submit an inquiry directly to the respective seller via the listing detail page.

Data protection is very important to us. In order to prevent data theft, the watermark and/or the code are therefore entered in the text.

When creating listings, sellers must comply with our marketplace rules. This includes, for example, the prompt deletion or pausing of sold machines. You can send us a message via the "Report listing" button in the respective listing if a listing violates our marketplace rules, e.g., if it has already been sold.

Please contact us immediately so that we can review the matter and initiate further steps. If a listing violates our marketplace rules, you can also forward your complaint to us via the "Report listing" button located in the respective listing.

The Machineseeker trust seal gives you the possibility to see at a glance whether you are dealing with a trustworthy seller. We check the trade licence or commercial register excerpt of the dealers as well as the postal address, verify the bank details and the availability by telephone before we finally draw up a credit report which does not contain any negative features.

In addition, we must not have any complaints about the Dealer.

Machine requests are generally free of charge. From the "Search" menu item, select "Send wanted ad" and follow the further instructions. You select a main category and the subcategory that matches your search query. Now enter your data in the fields provided. All dealers - in the selected category - will receive your purchase request.

In this way you reach an enormous number of sellers and can count on a high response rate. Therefore, please remember to click on your preferred way to reply. Finally, click on "Send inquiry".

By clicking on this so called captcha we can exclude that you are not a robot that automatically sends inquiries. This protects our dealers from spam and a completely crowded email inbox.
