In 1991, Ludwig Piffer founded the company that bears his name, focusing on workshop services, sales of agricultural machinery, forklift sales, and forklift servicing.

From the outset, the company relied on qualified, competent, and well-trained staff, both in the sale of new and used forklifts, as well as in the service team. Particular attention was and still is given to ensuring that Piffer’s forklift professionals are not only top specialists in their specific fields, but also stand out for their ability to think outside the box. This means, for example, that a forklift technician also has enough commercial know-how to assess whether a specific repair is still worthwhile; an administrative employee is able to offer valuable advice when it comes to deciding between purchasing, buying used, or renting; or a sales consultant won’t hesitate to pick up a screwdriver when faced with a technical issue.
